The place is old, the walls need some patches done and a new paint, curtains on the ceiling are so dusty. It's time to remodel the place.
The food was OK, not as flavorful as it was before covid. The quality of it went down.

We stumbled across this place wandering belltown looking for dinner. While unassuming on the outside, the restaurant is full of life. The ambiance is engulfing, it feels like you are stepping in to Morocco.
Our server went above and beyond to recommend dishes, serve with great showmanship and flair, and provide wonderful hospitality in general.
The food was fire. The spicy lamb was fall off the bone tender. We only ordered main course dishes off the menu and were curious why there were no appetizers listed, only to be surprised by a constant serving of incredible side dishes including lentil soup, salad and bread, and a phyllo crusted meat pie sprinkled in powdered sugar. The flavor combinations were exotic, unique and above all delicious.
They also have a great wine menu with some of the best varietals from all over the world including Moroccan wine and others that pair well to their food offerings (personally love Zinfandel and Lamb)
Bonus points the bathroom has a stall for the urinal. You never see that but it’s just nicer.
Would recommend for a nice night out

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars. Unfortunately I can't say I enjoyed anything from my dining service. The meat was undercooked and tuff, the rice was dry lacking flavor. My guest food was overcooked and mushy. The food looked and tasted like leftovers warmed up. The restaurant was under staffed with one waiter waiting on over 10 tables on a busy Friday night. The waiter did a great job considering the circumstances. The cook was rude. This restaurant has so much potential, if they make improvements on their menu and hire more wait staff.

This is OUTSTANDING!!!! Aziz was our waiter and he was on top of everything. He was kind, attentive and funny! We had no idea what to expect coming here but immediately upon entering it felt like we stepped into perhaps a Moroccan’s living room with long sofas against the wall and stools with low table tops around the perimeter of the room. Super cozy. We were surprised by the best mint tea, appetizer, salad and dessert to be INCLUDED in our meal! For approx $33 per person it felt like quite the experience and deal! We had our hands washed at the table and spritzed with orange blossom water. That’s a first! We had unlimited mint tea refills. Just superb experience. So great I can dismiss the fact that the walls inside are a bit beat up and sofa we sat on was hard (maybe it was just my spot). Doesn’t matter really. We will be back!

We had a really nice time here. The food was great! The 5 course meal is an exceptional value for around $35 per person. The service was great as well and the atmosphere is fun with the belly dancer and cool interior decor.
Worth a stop for an awesome dinner!

Tldr: Amazing food and ambiance, must try, cost ~ $30-40.
The external appearance of the restaurant is of beautiful Azul tiles and paintings and the inside is lined with a cozy Moroccan ambiance. The service provided is amazing and the staff is super friendly. You can order ala carte but highly recommend the 5 course meal. The menu has vegetarian options and the staff makes sure they accommodate their dishes for a vegetarian customers. Hospital place with great food. Highly recommended for dates or a big group dinners!

You know I'm a chef and I most often prefer to cook at home. So, there are very few times I enjoy Restaurant food enough to make me really want to go out. This place I love. From the time we walked in through the front door it felt like home. The man who sat us, joked with me like one of my own uncles. The food was authentic and delicious and it's so much more - the experience was pure. As though I'd walked in off the streets of Seattle and into Marrakesh, for real. They understand how to dine, properly & they are the finest of hosts. The food was spiced perfectly. The green Tea was delightful. The B' stilla oh my goodness... i ate every crumb. PERFECT. The lamb, you have never had lamb so nice & tender. Everything was so delicious and our hostess/Server was Layla- she was kind, sincere and engaging and made us feel at home. I live near Portland but had no idea there was one here. Because of our wonderful experience in Seattle, I will soon go to the one here! Inshalla! Layla you are great and Marrakesh thank you! Fullness of Blessings.
