Great lobster roll and great mac and cheese. The portions were decent and had a good amount of lobster for the price. That alone changed my mind a lot to make this a 4 star. The service was friendly, but didn't seem the most sanitary as we could see the gloved hands handle food and everything else. They need more staff for the demand. Lastly and most egregious is that the ventilation was terrible and there was smoke all around the restaurant. May come again if craving lobster...
Situated across from the Seattle Art Museum, Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls serves up northeast-style seafood sandwiches.

I got the classic roll, which is lobster & mayo on a nice buttered crispy bun. The lobster is soft and salty and quite refreshing, helping to cut through the richness of the butter and mayo. Mine didn't come with a lemon but my friend's did, so a little squeeze of lemon is highly recommended.

Pretty well-priced...
The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, the place is clean, and the service was friendly.

But I didn't really like the food, unfortunately. Everything was rather bland: the lobster bisque was salty and not much else; the lobster roll was lemony and not much else. The clam chowder was all right but nothing to write home about.

So I probably won't be back.
