Nice space, great server. Lame sushi. Maguro was low quality. Beer was flat and old. Would not return.

Elite late night happy hour spot. Huge sushi menu. Used to live down the block and still come back a few times a year since moving to a different neighborhood. Waiters are super friendly and there’s always sports on in the bar. Just wish they were open on non-game day Sundays!

Love the food, especially the speciality roles like 12th Man and Streetfighter. A little loud for a group conversation, but food and service are great!
Matsu's is our go to place before games at Lumen. The staff and owner are very friendly. Their food and service are top notch. AWESOME!!!
The food was the only good part. The service was poor and our waiter didn’t communicate to us that it would take 1 1/2 hours to finally get our food. My friend also received the wrong item and the waiter didn’t seem to care. We were waiting for so long and no one was checking up on us. This place is not worth it, could get better sushi somewhere else

Service was solid, fish was fresh, sushi was basic. We ordered the Omakase, wish he had done rolls. The wings were tasty.

Restaurantji Recommends
The sushi was like an all you can eat quality. For $70 for one person that is unacceptable. The waiter and front desk were friendly. Although nobody asked how was the food. I could smell the fish was not fresh and the way that the sushi was made so far reminded more of a mcdonalds but for sushi. The atmosphere is good and has great potential. My recommendation either get good quality fish or reduce prices. Will not recommend to anyone who knows what authentic sushi is OR anyone getting their toes into sushi as this is when people say they don’t like sushi when they eat smth like this for the first times.

I could not have been more disappointed. So I did take out with the salmon skin and a roll with eel. Firstly the place is gorgeous-I give it that. The hostess was gorgeous and so friendly!
So I ordered two rolls to go, and it came to about $50-$48 to be exact.
The rolls were flavorless. They were not tight rolls, so kept falling apart. It looked like the salmon skin roll had pieces of salmon in it, which takes away from the crispiness I’m used to with this type of sushi.
Overall, overpriced and overhyped. I’m from New York; I easily could’ve gotten these rolls for a fraction of the price and they would’ve been phenomenal.
