I grab the shrimp tempura roll and the karaage. It was really good even if the karaage was a tiny bit dry for me. But with the lemon on the side it was really good! And the service was also great

Love this place. The sushi is great and lots of non sushi options. The food is absolutely delicious. Our kids also love this place.
We were a bit disappointed with Matsu. We ordered off of the happy hour menu. The sushi on the happy hour menu is TINY--maybe half the size of normal sushi. The fish was excellent, but the rice wasn't cooked enough. My husband thought the oyster part of the fried oysters was excellent but was critical of how thick the breading was. My tempura had a nice selection, but the shrimp were tiny and the lightness of the tempura just wasn't there. Service was friendly and professional.

Texture of the fish is like it's going bad in a couple of hours. Tuna's almost the same colour as salmon (masking lacking taste with spices?). $35 including compulsory tip for two six-piece rolls, takeout. The best part of the meal is a box of warm sushi rice they for some reason packed (and charged for).
