Hands down my favorite sandwich place in town. What really makes this little sandwich shop stands out is that you can tell everybody who works here are really proud of the products. I love it when different workers sharing their personal favorite menu items with passions. The vibes are so infectiously sweet and wonderful. We came in today with our mom who’s a walker user. It was very busy in the shop and all the indoor seating were taken, but the owner talked to one of the family, and offered their seating to us. Everybody involved was so kind and compassionate to help us out. I cannot recommend enough of their oyster po’boy, definitely my favorite on their menu. They somehow manage to deep fried the oyster but still keeps most of the volume of the meat, the oysters are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

I can't add much that hasn't been said, so consider this a shoutout more than anything - Mean Sandwich is consistently excellent, the service is great, and the vibes are on point. If I didn't want to live past 55, I'd eat here every day.
Big props to Dan for always being around and setting the tone and folks like Skyler up front are just so damn nice.
A must-eat in Seattle.

The staff was happy to see me walk in, greeted me enthusiastically and did a great job describing some different sandwiches as it was my first time. Thank you for your enthusiasm, and friendly attitude. You can get good food many places but not everyone has 10/10 customer service!

First time trying this the other day. Was really looking forward to the burger. It was objectively good, because I believe burgers to be the perfect food, but the house made mustard sauce was really overpowering. I love mustard, but it overtook the burg for me. I would recommend getting the mustard on the side for your first try, even if you're not averse to it. It was great, just a LOT. The rest of the burger was very tasty!
The potato skins were a a fun alternative to fries- offering a different texture and shape that were fun to dip and eat. I'm looking forward to trying the loaded ones next.
Service was super friendly which means a lot especially now days. Super cute inside and felt clean. There is currently crazy construction going on outside, but parking on the block just behind and a paid lot adjacent.
Seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve had, great service and a nice spot to eat outside or inside. Was checked on and the staff was great. I got the falafel sandwich and was very impressed. Dans got a good thing going here!
