This place has got the trifecta: good draft list, competent bartenders and surprisingly decent food! Bar is in two parts, classic booths near the bar, and then more of an open-ish area near kitchen with larger picnic tables. Different than some Ballard bars, good lighting (but not bright), music isn't blaring, chill crowd. Actually yeah, a chill bar would be the perfect way to describe it. I'm a fan and it's a regular in my rotation.
Decent spot. Not a great beer selection.But they didn’t use the tablet with the obnoxious 20% tip pure selected so rounded up and I gave them 4 stars. No one likes that and it hurts reviews.

Before hosting an event nearby, I saw Pine Tavern and immediately knew I had to stop in here before heading out of Ballard. I'm really never in Ballard so I knew it was (probably) now or never! If you know me, you know I'm a fan of a good dive bar. I wouldn't really classify this a true dive bar but it's very laid back and the atmosphere is super chill.
