Stopped here for lunch -- guisado plate for me, tamales for my companions. The food was great and our hosts were super friendly, answering questions and making suggestions. There isn't a ton of seating, maybe room for 16 or so people (a guess, I didn't count), but you can get food to go.
I recently moved to the neighborhood, and this was one of the first markets and restaurants we tried, and it made such a great first impression.

Wow, wow!! I honestly didn’t expect to find truly authentic Mexican food in Seattle that tastes like what you get in Mexico, but Mendoza’s Mexican Mercado proved me wrong.
