The chili speaks for itself, and thankfully, it speaks loudly. This place is a true Ballard institution, having used the exact same recipe for the last 100 years. My advice? Go all in on the toppings. Also, if you're chasing a trendy vibe, or if your gold standard is Metropolitan Market's version, you might want to get over yourself. This is old Seattle to the max. Superb chili and highly recommended.
I’ve been struggling to find Chili on this trip. I remember that most bars had a bowl of chili as a standard on the menu. Not so where I’ve been going. As me and my mate Uber’s to Kangaroo and Kiwi, we saw this place and realised we had to go there.

Wow Bailey is outstanding customer service and Mike is awesome you can tell the ingredients are clean real fresh ingredients true quality and simple awesome experience... Wish this was in Colorado just a great friendly environment and real ingredients and good drinks what else can you ask for
