Wow, a Japanese owned gem kaisendon place!! Takeout only but the small interior waiting space is modestly decorated and nice. The staff is kind; the salmon ikura don is amazing!! Already thinking about the next visit when I’m eating this bowl :)

We originally thought this was a dine in location and were iffy about staying as we wanted a sit in restaurant. We decided to stay and they were super sweet about it, they let us eat in the waiting area. It turned out being a nice experience and the food was delicious! The customer service was amazing, we even got offered some water as we sat and ate our food. If we are ever back in Seattle we will make sure to visit.

My dream come true...a real donburi stand that serves both hot and cold options... For example: gyudon (beef on rice) and negihamadon (raw yellowtail with green onion on rice)... Everything as it should be: simple, authentic,
quality, reasonably priced and most importantly, delicious
This is a stand, with only one bench inside and one bench in front. Take your treasures and dine elsewhere!

Today, I went with my cousin to try this place for the first time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a smile that could light up any room. I didn’t catch his name, but he was so charming and made us feel right at home. After we got our food, we were about to settle on a bench outside, thinking it was takeout only. But he came outside to check on us and offered to set up a cozy table inside. He even brought us water and kept it filled, making sure we were comfortable. The food was fantastic—I had the sukiyaki bowl! 11/10 would recommend, but I have to say, the service definitely made the experience even better.

Everybody talking about the chirashi don but me and my fiancé were fighting over the avocado tuna don. Delicious. 10/10 no complaints.

the chirashi bowl was very tasty but gave me serious stomach bloating like I've never had before. Not sure if it was the quality of the fish or something else..

I've been here twice and both times it has been great. Fresh, delicious, and good portion for price. The place is very clean and service is fast and friendly. My only wish is that they would add a sprinkle of sesame seeds and sides of seaweed sheets, petty I know... but if they had like a potato chip rack full of a variety of seaweed packs I bet they'd sell a LOT and I want them to make a lot of money and stay open. A cooler of drinks would also be nice.
Low key I wanna keep this place a secret, it's too good ? Best kaisendon in the city, absolutely zero competition.

I’ve been meaning to pop into this place. Finally had the chance to carry out this afternoon, and I wasn’t disappointed. The person working the register was so friendly while also being incredibly busy. The food was exceptional. So fresh and delicious! I’m only sad that I didn’t check it out sooner, as my partner and I are relocating back to Chicago. Such a great place!

Food is amazing and service is great. Got the Minato Don, large portion and so good (~$25). Just a small spot so can only eat outside/to-go.

Loved the salmon avocado sundae. Perfect little snack while walking the neighborhood. Peaceful and tidy little place. Good quality food, can taste the freshness in the fish and skill in the rice

My new favorite chirashi bowl. Being half Japanese I can appreciate the quality rice, a detail too many Japanese restaurants skimp on in the US. Plus the fish is superb. My only complaint is it’s takeout only, hope they expand the lower level with seating, even if limited. The prices are great for sushi too.
