Such a great apartment complex, the apartments are super spacious and maintenance does an awesome job keeping everything good. Also, all of the employees (front desk, maintenance, security) are really nice. I think it’s the nicest building to live in Seattle and it’s in a great area.

Update (01/23/2024: They are asking me to leave the apartment as they cannot fix the HVAC in less than 10 weeks. And are not even providing services to move my things out of the apartment. FYI, my lease does not end for the next 9 months.I've lived here for 4 months now and I've had multiple issues with HVAC, WiFi and other amenities in the apartment. While most of the issues were quickly fixed, HVAC issue has taken over three weeks and I was forced to live with a heater in the cold weather even after paying extra for HVAC.Also, if you live here, you package is likely to get stolen :).The rent is super high too :).

The leasing staff is so great! And the maintenance team.

Overall, a great place to lease! I've been here for just over 2 years. Unfortunately, I had to leave Seattle due to work. The units are great! Has floor to ceiling windows, HVAC system with Google Nest, soft close cabinets, and concrete walls makes it pretty quiet. The only noise you might hear is if you are facing the alleyway, sometimes the garbage trucks come at inconvenient times that can get noisy.Apartment has a great package system called Luxer One. For most of the time, packages are secured in lockers or a storage room. Sometimes, there are package thieves, but it is common in South Lake Union with nearby apartments as well. Just have to be diligent picking up packages.Rent prices are usually fair. It is on the higher end but is expected if living in a city like South Lake Union. Just a note that base rent is separate from apartment utilities (electricity is also separate where it's paid via the city portal). There is a great apartment gym / basketball court (always breathtaking initially!) that was recently renovated. The leasing office is great and helpful! There was a recent change done last year, but the new staff (Andrea, Phelicity, Amber) are all very nice and will try their best to help answer any questions you may have. The area's also overall great. It is a block away from Whole Foods and close to a lot of great eats. Sometimes parking can be a pain if friends are coming over, but there is usually space across the street from the apartment entrance and on John St as well as paid parking in the resident parking lot.Overall, a great experience leasing! Will definitely consider again if moving back to Seattle. ✈️

This review is for the leasing process with Phelicity. The terms changed from moment to moment as well as the fees, even after I’d asked a direct question about them. It was like having them piecemeal versus being straightforward. I chose not to lease here due to questionable business practices and new fees equal to a months rent being added at each step of the process. I walked away with an experience that I could not trust what was being said.

I toured this place, the units are beautiful, and the building is in a great location. Phelicity was a great tour in showing me the units I was interested in. I did notice that the prices fluctuate heavily, I saw the price increase from 2200 to 3000 overnight, so keep that in mind if you are looking. Also, I found it weird that they charge a $300 cleaning fee upfront at the beginning of the lease to be applied when you move out, rather than just taking it out of the security deposit at the end (which is a separate $1000). Ultimately I went with a different building but this building was my second choice and will keep it in mind in the future!

This is an awesome place to live! High ceilings, gas stoves, A/C and prime location. Phelicity and Andrea in the front office are amazing, and HUGE shout out to Juan and his team in maintenance. These guys are the true unsung heroes that keep this place going and residents happy. Thanks all, its been a pleasure!

I’ve had to move a decent amount and was only in town briefly to looks at apartments with Phileciity. She made the entire process extremely easy, and she has gone above and beyond. She is one the most genuinely nice and pleasant people I’ve met and worked with through an apartment leasing process. She made the entire process stress-free and continually updated us even though we were only briefly in town.In a market where many apartments are currently offering competitive and similar features (Rollin Streets has top-notch amenities), it often comes down to how well a building is managed by staff. For us, it’s truly people like Phelicity who, without a doubt, move the needle and make the leasing process what it should be like (but often isn’t).

We are in love with our apartment! Its spacious, has high ceilings, and those living on the Denny Park side like us enjoy a great view and get plenty of sunlight (i.e. when Seattle isn't its cloudy self)! The leasing and maintenance staff have a great attitude and have always gone the extra mile to help us; special mention - Andrea, Phelicity and Juan.

I want to give Rollin Street 1 star and 5 stars at the same time.We lived at Rollin Street for 10 yrs from 2013-2023. Apartments are great, very durable high quality finishes and lots of space.Worst problem is package theft (I had 3 packages stolen while living there) and the building doesn't seem to care - it was far better when packages went to the front office, but they go to a Luxor locker system and locked room. Carriers are sloppy with deliveries and building management just shrugs their shoulders when things get lost. Carriers say things were delivered and won't let you file claims. Some nice stores actually covered my losses because neither the building nor the carriers would do it.Building management themselves broke locks on all the storage units last summer, without notifying residents, because they hadn't tracked which units were still being paid for. We lost a bunch of stuff, some of it sentimental.Building maintenance also went downhill in the pandemic with garage doors constantly breaking, and trash chutes and elevators backing up and breaking.I don't usually write reviews but I'm very glad to be out and living in a house now. Wish our stay had ended on a more positive note.

Best apartment I've lived in so far. Great friendly management and leasing agents, good amenities (volleyball/basketball court), convenient location (1 minute from whole foods), and really good soundproofing (walls are extra proofed since these were built as luxury condos) from concrete and sheetrock. Also the neighbors are all mostly great!

The place is nice but there are disrespectful residents who parties all time at the community area, management does not care the quiet time of the residents on 4th floor also they do not execute the pet policies, dogs running freely thru the building.

Large units with AC and gas stoves/fireplaces.The property switched management between June and Aug (2022), so things were a bit chaotic as the old management was leaving, but since the new management team has gotten up and running, I’ve been very happy with how the building is run. Both management and maintenance have been super responsive to help with any issues.

Management has changed and the overall experience here just isn't great. Few things to note:1. With the new staff, they tend to not have the "care" factor like they did before. I used to think this doesn't matter but I've realized it is very important to me to have the staff feel like family2. you'll save rent living on the alley side but it is really loud; dump trucks come in at like 3am or 4am so say goodbye to good sleep (I moved to the other side and am paying $1000 more in rent)3. wow they really jacked up the rent. I am paying so much more now.4. overall the units are high quality and the lounge area is great. No real complaints about the units themselves.I'll be moving out soon but just want to time it correctly with how much the economy is changing.Overall it is a good place but the pricing is now out of control for what you get.

Absolutely horrible management. I have lived here for a year and a half, pay over 3 grand in rent, and it's like dealing with DMV employees when I need anything from them (which is rare) Completely inept, rude staff that constantly turn over. There are a lot of better options for this price range in the SLU area. do not recommend
