Great little spot with excellent service and great food at a reasonable price for Sushi - place was lively and vibrant on a Tuesday night.Had been recommended as great value by a friend and did not disappoint .
The quality of food at Katsu-ya is excellent. My partner and I had the chef's choice of a 5 piece sushi meal and a dinner entree of chicken Katsu. The service was on point and our server was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain what each sushi option was, which is nice because apparently this isn't standard service at most places. The food, service, and overall decor of the restaurant all culminated into a wonderful dining ambiance. Will definitely be visiting...read full review

Went here for lunch. I had the sushi bento (see photo) plus a special roll (Sunset is the name, it has eel). The sushi bento has tuna, yellowtail, salmon, albacore, shrimp nigiri, crispy rice with crab meat, etc. The bento itself was filling enough.It was good, the fish was fresh, the miso was flavorful but not too salty, and the portions were fair.
