Great food! Little expensive but we really liked the place!!

Update. Went here again on 11/2 and had horrible service. My drink had a bug in it. The restroom was crawling with bugs. We waited 78 minutes for our order before we just left. They literally couldn’t even bring us more water??? The service was rude and slow and bad. What a shame. This place has turned to crap.

So we spent 78$ to not get a pizza. I can’t even. We literally asked to leave.

Absolutely phenomenal! This woodfired pizza spot is a hidden gem for any pizza lover. The crust was perfectly crisp with that signature smoky flavor you can only get from a wood-fired oven, and the toppings were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I had the egg and pancetta, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, making it a fantastic place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, delicious pizza. I’ll definitely be back!

I sat at the bar, which appears to be a tight fit as my elbows keep touching my neighbors as we were trying to eat our dinner. The restaurant was on a waitlist for happy hour and dinner, so it was packed. The bartender was great, she was attentive and kind as she was both the bartender for the restaurant and also the server for the bar guests as well. Overall great experience. I ordered the meatballs, margarita, pizza, beet salad, and clams. For which everything was delicious minus the clams, because they tasted overcooked and fishy.

I’ve never written a review before in my life but this needs to be addressed. Mio Posto is my favorite pizzeria in Seattle so I don’t want to sweep this under the rug.

My wife booked a table for 6+2 high chairs for 5pm today. Over the phone they said they don’t take a reservations but there wouldn’t be a problem since they had our name down for 5pm. They said we were officially on the wait list. (I heard the conversation on speaker myself).

We get there, (remember 2 high chair means small children) they told us 30 minutes.
After 40 min when I started to get a little upset and saw they just give the dessert menu to the people were eating before us.
I talked to the manger and after apologizing and trying to get the table ready he kept focusing on the fact that they don’t take reservations. (You should be clear how you talk over the phone to customers especially when you see 2 high chairs are required for that table).

After 1 hour I was able to get the kids seated (only because I asked) but not the entire party. 3 people from the previous party were still sitting.
We finally got the party seated after 1h and 10 minutes.
After we ordered, they forgot my kid’s pizza, didn’t bring the bread we asked for before the pizza (my kids were starving, my 14 months kid crying because of the long wait.

At the end zero discount, zero acknowledgment from the manager, not even saying good night!

Learn from this to give better experience to future customers.

Loud, crowded, basic.
We had a beer salad that was average. The meatballs were lukewarm on the inside and the egg plant park was undercooked. The pizza was good but not great. Space was tight and loud. The Chianti was good.

Neigborhood hangout with authentic Italian food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service. Try happy hour, but peruse the main menu, as well - the seasonal pizza is always out-of-this-world!
