This sushi restaurant is conveniently located near my workplace, so I’ve visited it multiple times. The food was always average, but I kept going back because of its proximity. I never understood how a 10-piece sushi platter could cost over $30, but looks like the norm these days in Seattle. However, I did enjoy their watermelon ginger drink.

My favorite sushi place on Cap Hill! Good service, great ambiance, and delicious every time. It’s busy on peak days, but worth the wait.

Enjoyed every bit of the experience at the restaurant. Service was excellent, and the food was even better! Biggest menu at a sushi place I've seen. Lots of options for whatever you are in the mood for including some vegetarian options I noticed. The salad we shared tasted awesome and was more than big enough to share. Music was going, but was quiet enough to be background noise.

They fell off so heavy. A couple of years ago this place was one of my top recommendations. Service is terrible; it’s like they don’t even want you coming in to eat. Staff is rude and food quality has significantly decreased over time

Quite impressed with Momiji in Capital Hill! We were scheduled to have dinner in a nearby Italian resturant and needed to kill about 30-45 minutes.

We just happened to walk by Momiji and walked into a warm and inviting space that had great atmosphere. A few spots left at the bar at 4:30pm and we sat down for a cocktail knowing we'd be leaving immediately afterward. Still, the bartender and staff were great and we really enjoyed the cocktails.

I sat my AMEX on the counter and without much fuss our minds were read and had a great check out experience too. By this time, about 5pm the place was now packed during a weekday.

Lesson learned get there 4-4:30pm as they don't have a lot of space.

Definitely will be coming back.

I had an awful dinning experience with my friend yesterday. Our waiter had the audacity out of NOWHERE walk up to our table dump my eaten edamame shells onto another clean plate next to the edamame, told me I was using the WRONG plate and walked away (we had three small plates). Why did it even matter which plate I used?? She didn’t even offer another clean plate! I was APPALLED but I didn’t want to make a scene about it because I was trying to enjoy dinner with my friend! It was the most disrespectful dinning experience I have ever had (I travel a lot for work and eat out all the time). Super disappointed and will NEVER be back!

Sushi: was super fishy (not fresh). We did order three different sushi’s -two of the three rolls had a pungent taste.

Restaurant abundance and the drinks were good.

Great food, authentic, tasty. Lovely setting with the interior garden in the background from where we were sitting. Were able to accommodate an all veggie tempura for child. Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.
