Excellent service at the reception desk. Bartender in front bar was superb and has a killer smile that is worthy of the movies. Server in DR was much more on the 'efficient' side. Very NYC and, as one of our guests said 'quite edgy'. He has a background as a high end bartender in PS, California and PV, Mexico and found her to be OK, but added that a little charm and warmth would work to her advantage. I agree. We expect good to very good food at Momiji Cap. Hill (don't like Momiji in Pioneer Square and after two tries, won't go back there). The dishes we ordered on Cap. Hill were 'good to very good' - nothing was exceptional, however. Presentation and elegant Japanese plating is lost to a more bistro like service. OK when that's what one is expecting, but it would never pass muster as a tea house for a more formal business dinner. Again, the bartender with the killer smile is a definite 'keeper' - and there is only one.

Good 👍 food 🍱 and drinks🥤are to be found at this nice staple of The Capital Hill neighborhood of beautiful 😻 downtown Seattle. Succulent Unagi Sashimi and Japanese 🇯🇵 style Soft Shell 🐚 Crabs 🦀 are but a small sampling of their various offerings. Good location as well .

We love love love Momiji. Their menu, and quality of sushi is excellent. The only reason they are not 5 stars across the board is their constant policy of stating to every table, before they seat them of their "90 minute table policy". It's aggressive and rude and always makes us pause before we are seated. We don't linger-many don't- and it seems as if they should deal with folks that do separately rather than declare it to everyone and have you agree before they will seat you.
Great sushi. Great energy very busy! Had a couple sushi rolls and the uni crispy rice was a must!

The sushi was fantastic The unexpected garden was gorgeous. The service was excellent. We had to use our nursing home talking to grandma yelling voices to hear each other. 80-90 decibels. Bumma.

Momiji is always my go to spot for sushi. Their rolls are absolutely delightful, with fun and unique flavor profiles. The quality and freshness of the fish is impeccable. Our service is always quick, thorough, and attentive. While I do have a favorite area to sit in, the whole restaurant is uniquely divided up to have options for everyone, and each portion is fun! I will always always always recommend this to people!
