This is the authentic Italian food experience you crave. The pasta is clearly freshly made and paired with what's in season and available. Having just come back from 3 months in the Mediterranean this place holds its own extremely well. I have been back several times, each time trying what's new and have been delighted each time. Belissima!
If you've been to Italy, or know Italians, you'll know this is the real thing! From homemade pasta to seafood (Sicily is surrounded by the sea) to veggies & homemade dessert, it's one of the best stops in Seattle, a town that loves Italian!
The bucatini alla amatriciana I had at Mondello is probably/certainly the best Italian dish I've ever had. And I've had this dish in Rome where it is a speciality. Amazing. Service was very quick and friendly and a great atmosphere in the outdoor seating. Highly recommended 👍
