What a great surprise! I love Italian but don’t get to enjoy it often as there’s not many places that provide that true authentic Italian dining experience. But Mondello is it. My wife and I stopped in for lunch after walking at Discovery Park. As soon as we walked in, i knew we were going to be in for a treat. Counter full of fresh baked bread, auntie in the thick framed glasses, everyone speaking Italian to each other and the decor that brought everything...
It was one of the best cooked Halibut I ever had!!! I ordered from the Today’s Specials menu and I’m so glad I did! It had a lovely Halibut and great fettuccini pasta to pair with it. My compliments to the chef!
This is such a gem in Magnolia. I feel like I am at a restaurant in Sicily with the most delicious food, amazing atmosphere and beautiful energy from the family who owns and works here. Sofana, the owner, is passionate about her food and family. Felt like a vacation! Highly recommend this restaurant.
