This was our first time checking out Monkey Grind— The space was clean, quiet, and staff greeted us upon entry. The drink prices were competitive, and didn’t take long to come out, but the overall flavor was disappointing. I ordered an iced caramel white mocha with regular dairy milk that tasted like milky burnt coffee. Sweetness is subjective so I can get over not being able to taste caramel or white mocha, but the espresso tasted burnt, not just roasted as if it were a darker...
Kendra and her team are just the best around. This is not your average coffee spot. This place is a family. The customers look out for the shop and are super social. Hang out long enough and someone is bound to say something to spark joy in your life. I love going here and look forward to going here everyday.
