Located on the fourth floor of a building, accessible from the 5th avenue entrance, this small coffee shop is tucked away in the Columbia Center. The baristas work efficiently, moving lines quickly, and the staff is very friendly, taking the time to explain the drink specials. Their seasonal specialty, the Honeysuckle latte, is a standout. In September, they also offer the pumpkin spice latte, called the Basic Witch, which is tasty with Oatly and has spices that are not too overwhelming.
Customers love the cozy seating area, which is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. This place is central to everything, making it a great alternative to chain coffee shops. Many enjoy their Lavender Oat Latte and often walk down to Pike Market afterward. The quick service and smooth drinks are appreciated, especially when enjoying the lovely weather at one of the small outdoor tables shaded by trees. The iced latte is noted as the best and strongest in Seattle, delivering amazing, strong, flavorful espresso without being overpowering or bitter. Their squash bread is also highly recommended. Monorail Espresso is definitely a place not to be missed.
