Monorail Espresso is a cozy coffee shop located on the fourth floor of the Columbia Center, accessible from the 5th avenue entrance. This small establishment is known for serving exceptional drinks at affordable prices. The baristas work efficiently, moving lines quickly, and the staff is very friendly, taking the time to explain the drink specials.
Customers love the cozy seating area, which is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The quick service and smooth drinks are appreciated, especially when enjoying the lovely weather at one of the small outdoor tables shaded by trees. The iced latte is noted as the best and strongest in Seattle, delivering amazing, strong, flavorful espresso without being overpowering or bitter.
Monorail Espresso offers seasonal specialty drinks, such as the Honeysuckle latte and the pumpkin spice latte, called the Basic Witch, which is tasty with Oatly and has spices that are not too overwhelming. The squash bread is also highly recommended. This place is central to everything, making it a great alternative to chain coffee shops.
