Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this unassuming restaurant offers high quality sushi and sashimi dishes.

My favorite is the Sushi Candy, fish wrap around crab meat salad and torched to get a smokey flavor. The standard one uses imitation crab meat. Definitely ask to substitute with real crabmeats.

This is my husband and my favorite sushi spot in Seattle. I recommend going during happy hour and getting their sashimi. It’s the best deal and so tasty. If you go during other times, definitely try their signature rolls👌🏼👌🏼 they also have a daily menu written on the wall for adventurous people. I had omakase that was ~$65/person. It was excellent!

I really wanted to like Moriyama but I have been underwhelmed by the quality of their sushi as compared to the cost. Their nigiri has not been standout or fresh each time I've gone, and ranges in the 4-8 dollar per piece. It feels on the high end of prices compared to other sushi restaurants in Seattle, but the quality does not match. They have a fun drink selection and lovely service. Moving forward, I will reserve my trips here strictly to happy hour where the price better...
