expensive, one dumpling is about $2. 12 dumplings cost me $25 including tips.
Everything here is excellent!
One of the best dumplings I've had outside of China! Very authentic. Freshly cooked with rich taste!
The dumplings wrap and baozi are very dry. The lamb soup is salty.
Excellent dumplings! Tasty and traditional!
so happy.
Their Bian dumpling is a must try!
The fillings of the dumplings were not fresh. The beef noodle soup was colder than lukewarm when it was just served. The beef couldn't be chewed. I didn't pay attention to the three seasonings. I even added extra tips myself and had to trouble the bank to deduct the money. It's very business-like. Dishonest
Highly not recommended
Yo this place is the best barbershop in Seattle. Every time I go in they get me right, ever barber knows what’s good. I trust these guys- sometimes I’m not sure how I want it cut, but they have the eye and talent to execute a 10/10 each time. The vibes are great too. Super friendly and charismatic people there. 5 stars all the way
Service was good, food was decent. We ordered the bian dumplings, beef and fennel dumplings, eggplant/potato/bell pepper stir fry, and tofu skin stir fry. The bian dumplings were good - not chewy or dry. The beef and fennel dumplings were a little tough, but not too dry. The tofu skin stir fry was okay - good flavor, but not something I'd reorder. The eggplant dish was my favorite - I'd come back here just to eat it. Every dish was fresh and made to order. The waitress was sweet and attentive. She gave suggestions and was quick to refill our water and clear our plates. I'd eat here again in the future, especially if I'm craving eggplant.
Restaurantji Recommends
Authentic dumpling like my neighbor used to make. Properly steamed and the contents where not to dry and not to sogy just right for dipping sauces. Don't believe the reviews on dry dumplings they are just used to under cooked soggy dumplings. I also order the potato eggplant pepper flavor was well ballenced and properly cooked.
I highly recommend the Bian dumplings and the Spicy Wontons. The xiao long bao seemed very mediocre and perhaps frozen? However the Bian dumplings and wontons were so good and completely made up for it. In addition the prices are insanely low. We got about 6 orders of dumplings and it was under 30 bucks! The service was amazing and the chef handmaking the dumplings does such a good job keeping up with orders!TLDR: go just for the Bian dumplings and wontons and you will leave very very happy.
Hand made dumplings you can tell, the dumpling wrap is made a little too dry, I saw several are cracking open. The stir fried beef and potato is very savory, better pair with rice or some other main dish.
Unfortunately very disappointing. As prior reviews mention, the dumplings are dry and a bit tough. The filling is hard as well, with little juice to them.I also ordered “marinated noodles” which was a box of unseasoned, cooked noodles in a box with half an egg and a side of “marinade.” The marinade was a couple sprigs of cilantro, maybe an inch of julienned cucumber and maybe two tablespoons of a pork/mushroom glaze. Wasn’t enough for even half of the noodles.I’ve wanted to try this place for a long time. Didn’t live up. It’s edible, but not flavorful. Chili oil was delicious though.
I have been wanting to try these for a long time. I finally got the chance for lunch today and was beyond impressed. Fresh, made to order, delicious dumplings! Bian Dumplings, Xiaolong, Pork and Nappa, and their daily special Won Tons in spicy chili oil. These are the best dumplings i have ever had, and I have had a lot. Way better than any of the big chains that i have been to. I cannot wait to go back and will be telling everyone i know to eat there. This small business needs support as it is near to a college campus and with classes online, not many students are going out. I will go out of my way to eat here when i am craving dumplings, which is often. Super high value as well, 6 orders of dumplings for under $40!!!!!! So so so good!
