This place is great. The owner/manager treated me like a guest in his kind home. The juices are delicious (green power is lovely with zingy citrus, parsley and celery) The gyro is fresh and tasty and the perfect size for a hungry Sunday morning. Tried Mr. Gyros on Phinney Ave today! Loved the variety of options for breakfast: from the delectable Shakshouka perfectly cooked with tasty spices and tomatoes, to their special rendition of French toast accompanied by a crème Chantilly made in house. My favorite was the grilled Zaatar Halloumi toast. The fava bean plate was beautifully served in an authentic pottery bowl so enticing to eat and very healthy. Mr. Gyros has always had amazing food and service! But, this new location takes it to the next level. There are breakfast items, Turkish coffee, pastries, homemade baklava, you name it! And, the owner is spectacular! He is kind, remembers you, and does whatever he can to make your visit great. I highly recommend Mr. Gyros in general and this location in particular!
