I don’t need to be from Seattle to know this is the best bagel in the city. The salt and everything bagels were so dang delicious. Add some spicy scallion schmear to that equation and you’ve got a true breakfast solution.
If a place can make a plain bagel that I can eat and enjoy without cream cheese, that's a pretty damn good bagel place in my opinion. The inside of the bagel was perfectly soft and fluffy, with a nice chewy outside crust that did not feel like chewing through leather. Amazing service, too. Added bonus is that their chocolate chip cookies are amazing.
This maybe technically the best made bagel I've had. Unfortunately the first one I bit into was the garlic one which has the unmistakable flavor of burnt garlic. Might be harsh on it but $3 a bagel is a lot for something fundamentally flawed.
The everything bagel is excellent crisp without needing it to be toasted.
I don't get what new Yorkers are on about but this apparently is one of the few acceptable bagels to the in the city....
