Everything is first rate, for a casual sushi restaurant.

Standard sushi, but the price is way over inflated so it almost literally puts a bad taste in your mouth. $160 for 2 rolls, 10 pieces of average grade sashimi and tiny skewers for two people. It is not a premium location and nothing above standard pacific salmon and (not toro) tuna.

We sat at the bar for our mother's birthday dinner. The food is always great, fish is fresh, and the wait staff isn't invasive. We got a little loud but still felt welcome.

The food wasn’t bad, I just thought it was a bit overpriced and kind of average. The decor feels a bit shabby too.

Wow. This place is my new favorite sushi spot in Seattle. The food and service were impeccable. Dinner date with GF and her mom. Neither eat seaweed so they ordered rolls w a cucumber wrap instead. It was very good. It was super busy but they were on top of it.

Went in on a Thursday night - sat at the bar and ordered omakase. Everything was outstanding, had a wonderful time!

I recently dined at Nishino and was left underwhelmed, especially considering the price. For a meal for two, we spent around $300, but the food didn’t justify the cost. None of the dishes were outstanding, and the two tartare dishes were particularly awful, with both tasting like canned fish. The fish overall didn’t seem fresh, which was disappointing for a sushi restaurant. On the bright side, the drinks were nice, and the service was good, but given the high price and lackluster food, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Had an amazing 1st experience here. The sushi nigiri just got better and better as the night progressed.
Items to note: Miso Clam soup , wagyu Nigiri and uni nigiri
Great service. Reserve early as it get noisy later in the evening.

Honestly, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Seattle. I invited my husband for Father's day and we loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Overall, it can be expensive but the quality of the ingredients and flavor- it is def worth it.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Seattle! The maitake mushroom tempura was so amazing! Missed the omakase back in the days - please bring it back??

Pretty good. Quality fish. But takeout portions are very, very small. See my photo of three bite-sized pieces of spinach ($10), and pathetic Brussels. Willing to give it another chance, but will opt to dine-in next time with hope that the experience is better. Simply not high quality enough for three people to remain hungry after $200 (no drinks). On the fence about this place (mainly because I WANT to like it because it’s in the neighborhood). There are so many sushi spots in Seattle that nail the value/quality ratio. Remains to be seen if Nishino is one of them.
