This should always be the "go-to" for casual dining in Downtown Seattle. Consistently great.. service, food, environment. For this occasion, I had a cup of split pea soup and a salad with chicken. Wine was fantastic too.
Had a great salmon Cobb salad there - salad was delicious, a bit too sweet for me but I liked it in general. Great atmosphere. A great place for a recharging between your holiday shoppings.
I was with one other person and there was no line. The hostess looked at us like we were interrupting her day or we were stupid and there was a moment of tense silence. Very weird. I usually would expect a friendly greeting, but I felt a “what do you want” kind of behavior. Food was awesome, and service at the bar great.
