O Maki Rolls + Teriyaki (N. Capitol Hill)

Great place for teriyaki and sushi! I would say their teriyaki is better than their sushi but both are good. I’d pass on the boba, it’s your typical fast food boba. Great service and food, I’d come back!

I went to O Maki yesterday, and their fish was sadly not as fresh as it used to be. It tasted old and very fishy, which was surprising given that I ordered a fresh (not spicy) tuna roll and one of their most popular deluxe rolls.

I loved O Maki the first couple of times I went, but my last experience with their food was a little disappointing. Might be willing to give them another shot, as their rolls were previously quite good and generous portions for Seattle sushi!

Had a really great experience here. The rolls were fresh and well prepared, and the beef was well cooked and tender. My young kids loved the miso soup and devoured their food. Can't wait to come back!

I have only ordered take out so I can’t speak to the vibe inside the restaurant but I’m always happy with my order. The Japanese curry is 🔥 (chicken Katsu curry) and I always order that item along with a roll. I have never been disappointed with my order. I’m allergic to avocado and they are always mindful to keep it out of the rolls. It’s off the beaten path in Capitol Hill but there is parking behind the building so that’s a plus!

Ordered 20 minutes before pick up. Chicken teriyaki was all cold(like, legit was made before I had ordered), gyoza was also cold(also probably made before I had ordered), and rice tasted horrible. How do you screw up rice???? Please let this place die.

One of my go-to takeout places. Service is really fast, the chicken in my teriyaki was grilled well with crispy edges but not overcooked. I also like the shrimp tempura roll; my bf loves the strawberry spritzer drink. Dining space is small but service is good. Very yummy, you should try it!

The teriyaki was average but the rolls more than make up for it.

My first time here and it was delicious. I had chicken teriyaki. Lots of delicious chicken. Teriyaki sauce on the chicken was yummy and there was just the right amount. Loved the side vegetables with sweet mayo instead of the usual salad. Rice was good, fresh and not dry. Service was fast. Great value for the money.

Very good food and service. We had chicken katsu curry which was super crispy and tasty, and spicy chicken teriyaki which was very yummy. Brown sugar bubble tea was awesome too. Highly recommended!

A big kitchen for being so slow.I could collect a gallon of tree sap before this place gets a single order out.
