Here’s a place where the owner knows beer and reproduces beers from other parts of the world with his Seattle style. A great person to talk to. Not a follower of the trendy sour beers or endless IPAs like other brewers he makes great beers from Europe. From his Czech heritage he makes several Czech style beers. Obec is a terrific brewery. They have a selection of beers that is unique among a sea of other breweries. The granat and Czech dark lager are consistently delicious. And in the winter their yearly Belgian quad releases are worth a try.
