I will always remember the ramen I ate here. It was one of the best, if not the greatest ramen in seattle. It was sad to hear it closed. I do hope to try the new style someday.
Very long wait outside for a table, but worth it for an interesting Japanese food experience that was not sushi. :)
Taste real Japanese and good👍
A fun and delicious Japanese food experience; the onigiri are the feature: I had mentaiko with cheese, it was something I couldn't have imagined, and it tasted amazing, the cheese was like a ballroom dress for the perfectly-seasoned roe. I also got the spam and egg musubi because I am incapable of not ordering spam musubi when it is an option. Lastly, the dashi ochakuze with shrimp tempura (I wanted salmon and salmon roe but they were out) was a new experience for me. It was so refreshing, and the secret star were the pickles that came with, hands down the best Japanese style pickles I've ever had. Love this place so much!
These days, it's rare to find a Japanese restaurant serving real Japanese tastes. Yes, we will be back!!
Love the vibe and food! The wait on a Saturday night was only 20 minutes or so.
This place Slaps! No sign outside to let you know you’re here.
Went in right at 12PM for lunch. Everything was good, perfect for lunch! I really enjoyed my ochazuke :) Unagi onigiri was delicious too! Space is small with limited seats so make sure to come early or expect to wait some time for larger parties.
This place knocked it out of the park. I can’t speak for Japanese authenticity but can attest to a wholesome experience. I was in Seattle for work trip and was craving some comfort food. On a Sunday night at 830 pm, I had to wait for about 10mins, I’m glad they were able to accommodate me just before closing time. I trusted the recommendation of my server and got the California onigiri and salmon ochazuke. The broth was comforting, with a balanced flavor profile. The pickle and tofu sides were such little treats. Onigiri was excellent, would’ve loved to try more of the menu but for a solo dining experience, I couldn’t have asked for more. The outside is very unassuming, all in all, a wonderful experience.
Musubi and onigiri were the best I’d come back here just for an avocado eel musubi. Ochazuke was ok

Love the onigiris
Best food ever.
super yummy!! The chicken karage was well seasoned and tender you need to get it!!!!
The chicken katsu curry was huge so I think you can share that. Everything else was to par was well in terms of food! The service was good and the atmosphere was cozy!
Best Onigiri in Seattle! My favorite is their Oyako onigiri
I enjoy trying something new here and I would like to try more dishes in the future. It is cozy and the service is great.
