Food is okay. Overpriced. Our waiter was great. But after dropping more than a hundred dollars on dinner at a slow hour the bar staff couldn’t even walk over to look at the booth for a lost item. I called, they said they would “call back” after looking for it. Obviously no call. I called again, they blew me off. Eventually after looking everywhere else I went back in to find it at the booth. It’s just a common courtesy that they can’t even oblige. Too bad. Get rid of the bar douches and it’d be a good place.
Warm and friendly atmosphere. Good food
Wonderful and a wonderful staff. A cheers kind of vibe where everyone knows your name
Food was really good. The hummus was amazing and there was actually quite a lot. The burgers were also really good. They didn't stay together very well but tasted great.
Great service and excellent carne asada street tacos. Happened to be there on the sunny patio during happy hour so great deal on tacos - simple scrumptious.
Tried the lamb and beef burgers. Lamb was better but both were very mid burgers with the beef burger lacking any flavor. That coupled with cold hard fries made these burgers plus tip not worth $60
Service was great. There was one server for dinner, but he came right over as soon as he had a minute, and was super friendly.
Ordered the salmon burger with tots. The piece of salmon was pretty thin so it was pretty overcooked. I get it, hard not to overcook such a thin pice of fish. The tots were crispy and warm.
For $22 I expected more out of the salmon burger. Nice enough place, maybe I ordered wrong. Would come back to try something else.
Had I good time n friendly people

I’m in town visiting family, the Airbnb we are staying at has a guide to local spots. Otter stuck out to us immediately.
We took the few block walk to check out this little corner spot, and it would’ve been worth the walk 10x over.
The food was absolutely delicious. I got the Rueben with the mushrooms, onions, and pineapple jam. It was hands down the best Rueben I’ve ever had.
The food could’ve been less than spectacular and this review would still be 5 stars. The immediate sense of friendship and pure kindness that radiates from inside this bar is unmatched. We had been in the Seattle area for over a day and we felt a bit of “standoffish-ness” from everyone we encountered. This is not the case at Otter.
Before we even had drinks we were greeted by a local who enlightened us to many local attractions and gave us a bit of his story, it felt like an old friend catching up.
The waiter was by far, leaps and bounds above the norm of your everyday wait staff. He was joyful, kind, helpful and he went above and beyond for us the entire time.
Lisa, the owner, came over to say hi before we left and just left the seal on an amazing evening. We had a very kind and warm hearted conversation.
We don’t know when we may be back to the area as we are from the east coast, but we will forever remember the hour we spent at Otter.
Do yourself the service of popping in and chatting with the Otter staff and locals. Try something new to eat. Life is short. Go Noles!

We found this place because we were just nearby and hungry and ended up having an awesome meal. Great service from the owners themselves, and excellent food. If you're anywhere in the area and want grill food but a little more special, give it a shot.

The porky pine burger was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten and not to mention the awesome coleslaw which I could of made a meal of it's own.

First time trying this place. Did an online take out order.
One of the best Cheeseburgers I have ever had. It was so juicy and perfectly cooked...a definite 5 napkin burger.
My sister had the Porky Pine burger and said it was da bomb.
Only complaint is I ordered (and paid for) Chipotle mayo dipping sauce for the onion rings (which are outstanding too!) but didn't notice the dipping sauce wasn't included in my take out bag until I got back to my hotel. Oh well...next time ... we will be back for sure.

This is the absolute worst of Seattle dining. Not only do they want $21+ for a sandwich and fries, but they charge $5.50 for a fountain Coke and then $5.50 for a refill. Adding insult to injury, is that they don't tell you before hand and when asked they will not reverse the charge even after apologizing. So a burger, tater tots, and coke costs $32 before tip ($11.00 just for soda that literally costs pennies). I know prices are increasing in Seattl but the Mexican place across the street, the two Thai places down the street, and the other diner all have 20% lower prices and do not play games like this. Needless to say, I will not return and will encourage anyone who lives in Eastlake to simply ignore them. Very bad business practices and price gouging.
Update: Server confirmed direct to my face that the cokes were 5.50 per as my bill was $21 for the sandwich and $11 for cokes = $32. Even considering tax this is just crazy. The server admitted he should have told me and did nothing to reverse it. Owner doesn’t even acknowledge that the team has the responsibility to inform patrons of these charges when most in the city do not charge for refills or inform their customers when they do. This is not even on the menu, go look for yourself. Sirloin is hardly worth $21 and its not like I choose the meat; its the standard on the menu. Not an upgrade like the owner implies. Look at the other prices, just as bad as the steak dip. Hamburgers and sandwiches are $19 - $21. A chicken wrap is $19. Is that organic grass fed chicken? Maybe a from scratch tortilla? I gave an honest review based on what I was told, paid for, and the gaps in their server. I was OK with 21 for a sandwich. I was not OK not being informed on additional charges. Even $6 for a coke is bad. Please name another restaurant in this area charging that price for soda that isnt a bottled mexican coke. Owner can complain as they want but my business will go elsewhere along with my Eastlake friends.
