Delectable fried chicken sandwich, designed my own. Really nice onion rings and ranch. Would come here again. Very large chicken! Flat like a cutlet and well seasoned. Beef burger seemed good too

We had a large order for my office via Door Dash & the driver, after accepting the order, turned up at the restairant and then refused to bring it to our office. Lisa the owner of Otter Bar then personally brought the order to our office!
I'e been a regular at OB&B for years & I've worked industry for years myself. Lisa & her team are awesome. Food is also good. I become a regular at places for the peeps & today Lisa proved I am right about them.

This review might be fallaciously nostalgic, so take it with the grain of salt, but I seriously think that Otter Bar has lost the unique charm that used to make it special under its new management and has become yet another milquetoast and twee Seattle eatery with mediocre food.
I used to eat here all the time before the coronavirus pandemic, during which I moved away. I was really excited to eat at the Otter Bar again but was totally disappointed by what it had become. While their intentions may be sincere, the changes they've made suggest a disconnect from what originally made the Otter Bar feel distinctive and welcoming. In an apparent effort to pander to both Seattleās tech bros and queer communities, much of the barās original character seems to have been lost. The result feels more like a calculated rebrand than a continuation of what once made the space truly special.
I ordered the Lisaās hot mess burger, named after one of the new owners, and while it wasnāt bad, it was probably one of the most unremarkable burgers Iāve had in my life. It reminded me of one of the gimmick burgers you can get in a Vegas casino restaurant with less flavor. I used to consistently order their Nashville Buffalo chicken burger, and I really miss it as it was taken off the menu. I would probably sell my soul to eat it again.
The service was good and the staff was friendly. A bit slow, but they were busy so I have no qualms with it.
Overall, a really gloomy experience for me.

The bartenders Rae and Patrick are AMAZING!
-Burger? Otterly delicious.
-Cheese curds? Therapeutic.
-Drinks? I donāt remember, but in a good way.
Some of these harsh reviews donāt reflect the quality food and service this place offers. Some folks act like waiting 10 minutes is a federal offense and leave reviews that read like courtroom drama.
-My experience? delightful.

Great service! Got a Reuben with pineapple jam and mushrooms and was left amazed by the flavor. Donāt be fooled by the aesthetic, the flavor is there as well as the service.

I find myself at Otter Bar maybe once a month considering their proximity to Fremont. They are a quaint neighborhood bar with personable service and delicious food (great happy hour street tacos too). How busy they are can vastly fluctuate, depending on the day of the week and the time of day. Iāve seen them at their slowest and on Sunday I saw them at their busiest. I popped by at around noon for a cider and a sandwich and was promptly informed by the bartender Rae (who has helped me many times before) that itād be about 10-15 minutes before she could get my order in. I had nowhere to be for an hour so I patiently waited as she helped 2 parties of what seemed like dozens of people. I did my Sudoku puzzles on my phone as Rae and her cook Reina (of all people) whisked around bussing dirty tables and checking in with patrons. Once I finally got my club sandwich and Tieton cider I scarfed that shit down and enjoyed every bite and sip. Even though it was slammed, Rae even made a point to ask me how I was doing. Under pressure she was graceful and classy and it felt like an old friend was catching up with me before she had to go greet the 5 new people joining me at the bar.
A chaotic but great experience (as per usual). Next time I will be consuming Lisaās hot mess š¤¤.

Food is okay. Overpriced. Our waiter was great. But after dropping more than a hundred dollars on dinner at a slow hour the bar staff couldnāt even walk over to look at the booth for a lost item. I called, they said they would ācall backā after looking for it. Obviously no call. I called again, they blew me off. Eventually after looking everywhere else I went back in to find it at the booth. Itās just a common courtesy that they canāt even oblige. Too bad. Get rid of the bar douches and itād be a good place.

Wonderful and a wonderful staff. A cheers kind of vibe where everyone knows your name
Food was really good. The hummus was amazing and there was actually quite a lot. The burgers were also really good. They didn't stay together very well but tasted great.
