“Salima’s Specialties is always a fantastic experience! Our go-to favorites are the short rib plate and chicken satay, which are both delicious. We’ve also tried the baked chicken plate and taro fries, which were great additions. For drinks, the hibiscus tea and mango lassi are always refreshing.

The decor is cozy, with plants and a vibrant mural that says ‘Let’s Eat,’ plus a map showing where the cuisines originate. This restaurant focuses mainly on Malaysian foods but also offers a few Cham dishes. The food is consistently flavorful, and the service is wonderful every time. Highly recommend!“

“Walked by the night before and didn't have time to pop in after work, but took note of the cool looking new spot in GTown. Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. Ridiculously tasty, will be back with friends and family to try the rest of the menu and I'm sure you'll be serving my coworkers (repeatedly) as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Highly recommend this place! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting customers with a big smile, making you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious—their fried chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, easily the best wings I’ve had in Seattle. The stir-fried beef noodles is also incredibly authentic, with perfectly cooked noodles infused with that irresistible wok aroma. On top of that, their prices are very affordable, and the portions are generous. I truly hope Seattle can have more hidden gems like this one!“

“This place is amazing and the food is SO good!! So many unique dishes (and I’d guess authentic but can’t speak from personal experience), and the staff are so nice — they pack everything in containers and tape them closed, and then staple the bags closed so they’re safe and secure for takeout. Call-in orders for pickup only! Same owners run Pestle Rock next door, and Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai Cuisine Wallingford. Photos of my favorites: KROB KEM: plantain chips! “Great dinner experience waiting for a show at the Neptune. The flavor was outstanding! Ordered three stars but could have gone to four. The beef and E-san sauce with the Crying Tiger was out of this world. Nothing but praise for Kai's Noodles and Yellow Curry. Kyle the server was attentive, with a dry sense of humor and helpful suggestions on what to order. I highly recommend it!“

“Having grown up in Singapore, I'm always on the hunt for good Singaporean, Malaysian, and Indonesian food. ASEAN Streat Food Hall did not disappoint. Their Singapore Noodles had the right mixture of spices to bring me home again. With huge portions and such a wide variety on the menus it will take at least a dozen visits to try them all.“
