Food was fine, but disappointing takeout experience. We spent about $50 on food for an outdoor concert and no silverware was included in the bag, so we couldn’t eat the bowls once we got there.
Great sandwiches! I've had their famous cuban and the paseo press. I liked the press better because it had more cheese, banana peppers to cut the fat of the roast, and a slice of ham, but you still get the delicious roast. I also got the yuca fries, which had a nice dipping sauce, but the price is a bit hard to justify compared to the value of the sandwich. Drinks were surprisingly reasonable, including $5 margaritas on first Friday of the month.
We got pork belly and the cod sandwich. I would say that the pork belly sandwich is really fantastic. The meat itself is well seasoned and the sauce and bread really matched well with it. Fish sandwich was ok but not as impressive. A little messy to eat and the onion is too soft and didn’t have enough taste. Comparing to the other very similar sandwich place, I think Paseo has the better meat sandwich, the bread is better, and the spicy kick is better. But it does not...
