We had lunch at this restaurant because we were a hotel guest. My eggs were very cooked. We had to wait for our first coffee, we had to ask and wait for our second coffee. Nice restaurant. Lunch was very good.
The service was absolutely great! The fare while very nicely plated / presented was just “fair” in flavor. The burger was beyond well when ordered medium where it was very dry, the pear salad was bland. That said the French Fries were great and plentiful and the seafood appetizer was pretty good. It should be noted that breakfast the next day was outstanding. The eggs, chicken sausage and potatoes with sour dough toast was excellent!
This is a hotel restaurant. I would write home about the staff. Management has tacked on the Seattle 20%, but opted to give 4% to other hotel staff. With the prices charged here compared to other fine dining options, this is outrageous. Pay your hotel staff properly to start with! Don't rely on your restaurant staff to make up the difference with tip moneys that should be going to them!
