I used to live here. I came into town for 5 hours. I had one choice of where to eat out of every place in Seattle that I love, before it was time to go. So this was the pick. And it taste exactly like it did when I frequented the place fifteen years ago. Do the math.
Pazzo’s is an Eastlake institution. Consistency is a key here. Pizzas, salads, calzones and a full bar. During my most recent trip, I had the DaVinci calzone. Roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, fresh spinach, fresh basil, roasted garlic and red sauce with ricotta, mozzarella and goat cheeses. Crunchy exterior and robust red sauce and full of cheese. It was a nice location and atmosphere inside, but the food was exceptional! The dough and toppings were delicious.
It was great fresh, and as well when we had leftovers, it still tasted amazing.
