Either pay for good food for yourself AND the earth, or have huge medical bills and a dying planet... you choose, ...choose PCC.

It's unfortunate that I'm writing this review but I had the most terrible experience at PCC on 3/12. I had called in advance and reserved a vegan chocolate raspberry cake. I was picking up my family from the airport and it was their anniversary so I wanted to surprise them. When I went to pick it up, one of their staff members opened the fridge, only to not find the cake there. A couple of them swore they had just seen it, and requested me to wait for the manager instead who had kept it.

The manager was apparently on a lunch break at 5:30 pm. I waited until 6 pm and he didn't arrive despite the staff making repeated announcements on the PA system.

Their staff kept asking me if I had other shopping to do and could do that instead of waiting at the counter (nice idea, why didn't I think of that? Maybe because I was only there for the cake).

By that time, I had started getting late for the airport, and just left. I felt extremely bad that I couldn't make my family's day as special as I wanted to, just because of PCC's lack of commitment to customer service.

Price way expensive products not worth the price. The food and salads Section was not good all the time I don't know if they have a chef to try the food before service to customers. But anyway, after they were not allowed to bring dogs I stopped shopping at PCC

The staff is friendly, the produce and other food items are excellent, and the overall shopping experience is terrific!

Really nice shopping atmosphere. Of course, gonna be a little expensive, but you get what you pay for I suppose!

Food quality is all downhill - see other recent reviews. They don’t seem to take feedback and improve! Keep telling them what they need to improve till they change! ‼️

I’ve been here for about a month for the hot bar. I don’t understand why there is no creativity. It’s the same hot bar every single time. You can literally taste the food before you even see it. For example, always coconut white rice, always the chicken, always the brussel sprouts. The same mango curry tofu literally everyday I would love to see more thought put into more unique options weekly instead of simply rinse and repeating your menu weekly. I see locals feeling the same thing - they come in during the lunch hour - make a loop look at the hot bar - arg the same usual and walk out or hack together something.

Seconds, the brussel sprouts are either horrible or okay. They never properly cook them where you can eat the whole sprout - you end up having to spit out the ends of each one because it is so hard. This is not properly cooked. Or they are incredibly uncooked and watery in texture. Food manager - please actually taste test the food before you serve it. If you eat a brussel sprouts and it’s hard/under cooked - there is something wrong with the batch! Don’t bring it out for everyone to experience the same!

Lastly I’ll say that I’ve shared this feedback about the sprouts to the person with the clipboard who is reviewing the food on display. And he took it but it was very much in a tone of - “we hear you but we’re not going to listen to our customers”. 3+ weeks later we see the same food quality ‼️

This was my first visit to PCC I really was pleased with the store and the employees.

Pretty good food and if you find sales it can be reasonably priced - overall good for me.

The most expensive supermarket in the city with mediocre products.

The self-checkout system is the worst I've experienced with multiple errors and unnecessary prompts

$9.00 for 2 small slices of dried out pizza

I was with my child enjoying shopping at that store until I stood in line and was ready to check out. Female checker refused to service me as she waived to the guy behind us. When I asked why? She said that he was first because he left his shopping basket at the corner but still was shopping around somewhere an showed up in line after we came to check out our one item. I watched her as she was flirting with that guy and ringing his items. I was shocked by that behavior. But the topper was when I sent an email to a store manager describing the whole situation. Ignorant and stupid manager replied that I can't shop in that store anymore! Store manager forwarded to me some strangers email saying she supposedly already warned "me not to shop there, but it's wasn't my email address at all! She confused me with someone else that had the same first name, but totally different last name and totally different email address! I pointed it out to her and she blatantly replied oh you can shop here. Not even sorry! My husband was laughing of how stupid that store manager was, I was annoyed. Obviously she can't read and pay attention to detail.I used to spend a lot of money there, but after that weird experience with their customer service, I don't shop at that store ever!
