Did a really cool brewery event at Pennyroyal which was fun and informative. Overall enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. Honestly my main issue was how the event was setup - a long table with the speaker at one end, which resulted in our group at the other end really struggling to hear. A dedicated event space or intentional seating design would be appreciated next time.
Hunt was our bartender and even though we came in right before close during World Cup craziness he was so attentive and kind. He also gave killer local recommendations. Cute spot, cozy barstools and dark interior.
My husband recently stopped in to Pennyroal while we were staying at the Kimpton Palladian in Seattle.
We sat at the bar and Huntly was our bartender. He was absolutely phenomenal - we would come back just to hangout with him!
Their happy hour deals are unheard of, and their food was great. We hope to be back soon!
