The female cashier probably thought that international students had a bad attitude towards customers, too bad because they were Vietnamese and spoke the same language but behaved uneducatedly ???

I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions, but unfortunately, the service has not been satisfactory. Despite this, their pho is exceptional, which led me to give them another chance. During my last visit, I sat at the bar and was served a hot glass filled with warm tap water by a young gentleman. I waited for approximately 8-10 minutes before someone took my order. While I was eating, I noticed a young lady blowing her nose behind the bar in front of me, and then continued to work without properly washing her hands, touching other customers' drinks and food. Additionally, I saw one of the male staff members drop a bunch of chopsticks on the floor and then put them back on the metal plates to serve to customers.

We walked 40 minutes to get to the restaurant, and it was worth the walk. Pho came out in a minute after we ordered and was just on point. The broth, perfectly seasoned, hit the spot with its depth of flavor. I recommend steak and brisket for the meat. Very reasonably priced. Good hearty meal.

For context, my mother makes the best bone marrow beef pho so I can speak on pho. My date and I hadn’t eaten anything prior to coming here and experience stomach cramps and the urge to vomit.
I don’t know what happened tonight as I’m usually a big fan of their pho. The noodles were really starchy feeling/tasting, and the broth was watery to the point where even nuoc beo/fatty broth couldn’t save it. This is the total opposite of my previous experiences here.
I’ve been here two other times and loved it each time, but tonight my date and I left feeling sick afterwards. Aside from feeling anguish and rumbling within my stomach, I tasted the considerable difference in quality control and taste.
Pho Basil in Everett beats this place by a landslide if this recent bowl of pho of mine is what they’ve been serving lately.
Although I will say their chili oil, portion sizes, and jalapenos were pretty good.
