Pho Hai Yen

I continue to be really impressed with the freshness, deliciousness and speed of the service at Pho Hai Yen. It's a family run place and on my most recent visit, my food was ready in 15 mins when I called to place the order for takeout, which was perfect timing for me to run out to pick it up and bring it back home still hot. I tried their pork bahn me and pho in two different occasions while staying with our friend in the area. Both times, we ordered to go over the phone and picked it up later. Food was great both times. I took one star off due to very long wait even though we ordered over the phone, food was not ready on time both times. It would be great if they can give more realistic time estimates.

DELICIOUS food and really casual, comfortable atmosphere. I've never had trouble with their service until today. They must have just been understaffed. It took about 50 minutes for my food to be served, and all I had ordered was a veggie pho and egg rolls. Meanwhile, a couple sitting nearby waited for over 20 minutes for their order to be taken.
