The food is good but not great. From the starters, the burrata and the Eggplant parmesan fries were very good. Main dishes were OK, tiramisu was fine but too heavy. The restaurant is nice but, on Saturday evening, it was full and very noisy. Service was good.
Having eaten in a few locations, Piatti can always be counted on for consistency in its food and service. The Seattle (University District) did not disappoint. We had lemon spinach ravioli, which was delicious, a bit rich, but just the right texture and accents. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive. The atmosphere was a bit noisy as we were in line with the kitchen. There was a lot of chatter and camaraderie going on, which was a little distracting. There were plenty...
Our group of friends, for the most part has the Italian wedding soup when we gather for a quick lunch here.  It is warm, delicious and comforting. Always excellent. On occasion, I have gotten the bean soup which is also very very good. They also have a an excellent warmed focaccia bread with olive oil and herbs on the side. Yummy!
