While in Seattle, you must check out Pike Place Fish Market. The energy here is electric-watching the fishmongers toss fish (& an octopus) through the air is an experience in itself. But beyond the lively atmosphere, the wide range of fresh seafood available is an incredible sight.

From wild salmon to Dungeness, snow, and king crab, every piece is 100% sustainably sourced and as fresh as it gets. The lobster tails are colossal and the king crab legs...wow.

Seattle layover from Alaska, we came here because we had to of course. Shipped 1 King Salmon and 1 sockeye home to Vegas. Best salmon we’ve ever had. Precut for us and arrived perfectly, as promised. Will order from Pike Place again when it’s time to re-up. Now we are spoiled and never buying from anywhere else again. Life’s too short for crappy salmon.
I went to the pike place fish market this past weekend for the first time. It was a great experience. It was much larger than I had anticipated. They had so many shops and restaurants. Endless amounts of fish and a lot of it was pretty expensive. The smells, sights and people were a lot to take in. The views of the sound were great too. Highly recommended as a place to visit while in Seattle. You could spend the better part of a day there exploring.
