I never usually leave reviews but this small cozy coffee shop on Aurora is so welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I entered with the warmest smile and now I continuously come back. Sheya makes the best drinks and has the best customer service. ASK FOR HER!!! She was fast and is always a pleasure to talk to. She has light who shows a big heart. I was made a lavender honey latte with the best cold foam I have ever tried!! Her own secret menu always makes my day. Lots of efficiency...
Northgate is sadly lacking in cafe and restaurant options. This stretch of Aurora is somewhat bleak and limited. Pilgrim is a nice for grabbing a hot drink or a small sweet or savory food item. It's not only open until 3pm.
For better or for worse, it's a popular spot for work-from-home people or students and >50% of the tables will be people with laptops.
