Casual bakery with great quality and an interesting combination of cuisines - and it definitely works!! Slavic piroshkis combined with Philippine/Thai-ish fillings. Huge selection of sweets, there is always something new to try and I've not been disappointed. My new favorite casual lunch spot on Cap Hill.
Wow! Exceeded my expectations. The vegan Laing and the flan danish were delicious. Employees were super helpful with giving recommendations. I really appreciate the range of vegan/vegetarian options. And the fact that I can easily get here via many transit options.
I was probably unlucky because, when I arrived, there were only two vegan pinoyshki (or piroshky? I still haven't figured out the difference) options available: Seattle Dog and Breakfast Scramble. I tried the Breakfast Scramble since I am not a fan of vegan cheese. The dough of the pinoyshki is kind of sweet, and I like the contrast with the salty filling! For the filling, I was expecting more sausage and mushrooms, but it was mostly just egg and spinach. I can't complain,...
