One of my favorite quick and easy travel meals in the city! I used to go multiple times a weeks when the location was downtown. The new capital hill spot has fairly easy parking. Though not near my work route, I still make the trip over for the bacon/ham/ egg or the garlic beef. Lots of amazing stuff to try with loads of light and airy seating options.
One of my favorite additions to the neighborhood during the last few years. The piroshki are transportable, filling, and flavorful (although I can only comment on the vegetarian options, of which there are multiple). I particularly like the vegan laing. There's also a substantial rotation of sweets/bakery items. I love to drop in to Pinoyshki when I know that I'll need to eat something on the go - no utensils required. Go to Pinoyshki!
This place is solid if you want to try Filipino/Polish (Eastern European) fusion food. It’s a delightful combination. I enjoyed the chicken adobo piroshki but it was a little too strong on the vinegar flavor; I’ve had plenty of adobo that was more balanced. With tax and tip, this one piroshki came to $12 which seems to be the going rate these days in Seattle. That said, I would try this place again if I just want to grab a snack.
