I was quite disappointed after visiting this location, especially since I was a tourist following the Anthony Bourdain recommendation. I ordered the chocolate hazelnut and the potato beef pastries. As a chocolate lover, I was surprised that the chocolate hazelnut was not flavorful enough for me to even finish it. The potato beef was only average. Overall, I do not recommend this place for other tourists who are making a special trip because of the Bourdain connection.
The potato and mushroom pirozhki was one of the best things I've eaten this week. Warm, soft, flaky, perfectly savory...
I wasn't big on the garden curry flavor, but that might be because the other one set the bar so high.
