Had goddess salad (average), onion soup (a bit above average) and then bouillabase and crab cakes (pretty good but small portion for price) and then budin and brulee (good)...overall good but nothing amazing and likely would not return. Sat outside...view was outstanding. Waiter was ok...did not clean table cloth after meal before dessert (and it needed it)...but was attentive with water and checking in.
Place Pigalle was such a nice find inside Pike Place Market. It’s a little tucked away and easy to miss, but once you’re inside, the cozy atmosphere and the view over the water make it feel really special. The food was really good overall, especially the seafood, and everything felt simple but well prepared. The service was friendly and relaxed too. A bit more expensive than some other places around the market, but I think it’s worth it for the food,...
The place and the food are really superb! The highlight of it all though is the service. We came in with our toddler and they couldn't be more accommodating. Though there was no kids menu, or high chairs, they prepared something special for the baby, and offered to keep the stroller by the table. We had the scallops, lamb, and awesome clam and onion soup. Table with the most amazing view of the waterfront. What a great Seattle farewell before we had back home to Austin.
