Family owned and really affordable! Love the location too. A place you can become a local at, a true “regular” and the staff will know you by name.

Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. The bill was appropriate.

This place does it for me. The bill was good for how much you get. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.

One of my fav diners. Super cute and fun with decor that will entertain you while you wait for your food. Shoutout to the creative latte art and butterscotch chip pancakes!

Here on this day July the 31st 2020, my final full day in the beautiful city of Seattle, I chose Planet Java Diner as my final place to have breakfast. The fact that they were still open during these crazy times was crazy to me. I figured that local places like this were becoming more and more extinct. And, on this day I was right because today I was informed that it would be their final day in business. I was extremely saddened by this news. It was a grim reminder of how much this virus has changed things forever. But, let's not focus on how much things have changed. This place deserves some form of normality and I'm going to give it to them with a normal review. So, located in the heart of Pioneer Square, Planet Java is the perfect place to bring family or a visiting friend when they're visiting good old Seattle. They have an all day breakfast menu featuring everything from scrambles, omelette, chicken fried steaks, with pancakes and French. Toast. They also have a selection of burgers and other diner stuff. Today I went with the California omelette. Three eggs mixed with bacon and peppers and topped off with cheese and avocado. Can't get a better omelette than that! The omelette was flavorful. My only wish was that it could have had the option to have some salsa on the side. I'm from Texas so we want everything with a side of salsa so... my omelette came with some hash browns and toast which was as good as has and toast can get. The coffee here was diner coffee so if you're expecting Starbucks; you should maybe go to Starbucks? The service here was also great as my waitress was very attentive. They maintained Covid code by wearing masks and cleaning etc. All in all, this place deserved more but sadly, it will now be a memory. Thank you for your business Planet Java. Seattle will truly miss you!

Fun little diner hidden away. Food is great for the concept too. Great meal with a lot to take in.

This iconic diner open for take out Wednesday thru Sunday from 9AM to 2 PM. I recommend any omlet choice or Saloon Burger or Malibu Chicken sandwich!

Very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was very good and was even told by other patrons that it is "the best breakfast in town" which I agree with.

This was the closest diner to where we were staying. Went the most days after that. Good priced food, tasted excellent and lots to choose from. Nice staff.

Update: After multiple visits, we are basically done going here. It’s really sad because everything is wonderful EXCEPT the always extremely rude host/ busser. Not the blonde waitress, she is great!! Really a huge bummer because the host / busser ruins the experience. We’ve witnessed her be mean to other patrons, not just us. Really sad.

This is an amazing place and all the decor and retro ambiance to go with your diner coffee. The food was yummy and just love the diner vibe!

I like the atmosphere and the waitress. The food was okay. First impression was great. Bathrooms were a bit smelly but it was an okay in cleaning perspective. I ordered the California omelette and it was good!
