During my 18 days stay in SLU, this is my go to place for vegan food (I’m vegetarian). The food has variety and had great taste especially shakes and burgers (They even customise the order, if you ask them before-hand). Only low light was, there was only person most of the times, so often times i had to wait for my order.

They have only one person working the kitchen and taking orders at the same time. The self service tablet only tells us that it’s not taking payments after we finish the whole order. When the person comes from the kitchen to get the payment, we have to repeat the order all over again. There was also a language barrier even though the employee was nice. Food was good.

Was denied my MealPal lunch as I was late due to work. I understand food trucks have timings for pickup but I don’t know what’s the excuse for a restaurant. Worst thing is they did not refund or canceled the order. Poor customer experience and never coming here again.
EDIT: In response to business reply - So let me get this straight — you prepared my meal but refused to give it to me because I arrived late? Then what happened to the meal that was supposedly made? If you decided not to serve it, why didn’t you cancel or refund the order from your end? Had I not contacted MealPal, you would’ve simply kept the payment.
Also, suggesting I rate MealPal instead of you feels like deflecting responsibility. MealPal actually helped resolve the issue — your team didn’t. This isn’t about the platform; it’s about customer experience, empathy, and basic accountability, which were clearly missing here. Instead of shifting blame, maybe focus on genuine customer experience and owning up when things go wrong.
At the end of the day, I left without the food I ordered for — that’s the real issue here, not the platform you’re trying to blame.

Really disappointing experience. The staff were not friendly and treated me as if I had nowhere else to go for lunch. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my food. It seems like online orders are prioritized over walk-ins, so you’ll just be standing around while others get served first.
When I finally got my açaí bowl, it wasn’t great — not the freshness or quality I expected, definitely overhyped for what it is. Overall, poor service, long wait times, and below-average food. Wouldn’t recommend.
The Bánh Mì Burger is great. Like everyone else said, it’s pretty good with a lot of flavor and different fillings!

I loved the Plant Goddess Salad w/ Chick'n from Plantiful Superfoods Westlake Ave. The vibrant mix of lettuce, cranberries, avocado, and pumpkin seeds made each bite fresh and crunchy. The plant-based chicken patty added a savory touch. So colorful and satisfying! Got it through MealPal.
