As soon as I told the waitress that I was vegan she brought a separate menu with the vegan/vegetarian options: most of the dishes can be made vegan/vegetarian choosing tofu or mushroom, and specifying vegan or vegetarian (with egg) noodles.
My husband and I wanted to try something with the sichuan pepper so we had grandma potatoes to split... even though the plate is in the "small" section it is enough for two people and it's very filling!

If you want LEGITIMATELY phenomenal Szechuan food, this is the place to go to. Don’t skip out on the mocktails as they are absolutely essential for your experience. The dry fried chicken and yibin hot noodles are my go to recommendations.

Like, it’s tasty, but they really lean on salt. I could barely taste the mala spice, I swear they used to do it spicier.
I guess that the typical American palate is too weak to deal with it. My point of reference is restaurants in China.
