Food was bland. Salsa seemed to just be a tomato puree, essentially a soup without any other flavors. Asada tacos were fine but pollo was very bland. Margaritas were made well. Service was fine once we were able to flag down someone to wait our table. The place is cute but nothing about the experience is authentic.
Great ambience, good drinks especially during happy hour. Food itself is pretty mediocre. Ordered the Al Pastor plate and you have to cut the meat and assemble the taco yourself (I expected it to be assembled already for the price I was paying). The pork itself was cooked okay, but overall was pretty flavorless and mine was pretty chewy. I expected more, just go for happy hour drinks if you're in the area, but there are much better Mexican food spots around!
Nice place to sit and eat, food is fine, very pricey without the quality you’d expect for the price. This was $35 total. The agua fresca was really good, but a small size for the price. The side of rice and beans was $5 extra and I was shocked at how small a portion it was, the smallest amount of rice I’d ever seen. The tacos were good but only a single tortilla.
