Disgusting behavior by staff. Harassing a man on a public sidewalk while filming. He said not one word to these disgusting humans but they just couldn’t help themselves to criticize & belittle him. POS staff.
Terrible food, terrible service. The staff are extremely rude. I will never eat here again.
Employees harassing a mute man that was filing while I was trying to eat. Man did nothing name the employees kept escalating the situation. Someone told me the man posted a video of the employees harassing him. He had right to do what he was doing. I am visiting America and I thought there were rights but I was wrong. Employee that was pushing him should be fired and and charged with the assault.

Portage Bay Cafe - West Seattle offers a menu full of delicious options, including specials that are just as good as the regular items. It's a great place for brunch with clearly marked vegetarian and vegan selections. The wheat toast is thick and wheaty, and the berry bar is awesome, featuring fresh yogurt and granola. The French toast is light and airy, with killer toppings. While it may not be ideal for group gatherings due to the noise level, it's perfect for a couple looking for a tasty meal. Despite busy times like weekends, the staff ensures timely seating and attentive service. The coffee stays filled, and the iced tea is strong and refreshing. Portions are generous, and the cozy, clean space makes for a pleasant dining experience. Quality and value are very good, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors.
The only issue some customers had was the proximity of the party next to them. They were basically sitting at the same table with a little partition between them. The couple at the table were swearing a lot, which was distracting to the meal. Perhaps a more soundproof partition between the general dining and the bar area could help.
Customers who took friends from out of town for breakfast had a perfect experience. They had eggs Benedict and French toast, which was huge, and they also got to enjoy the berry bar. Highly recommended.
Some customers had a reservation but were asked to leave the table even though they had been there for about an hour and 15 minutes, as there was another reservation waiting for the table. This was the first time they had been asked to vacate a table, and it was off-putting.
