Went to Project 9 for my brother’s graduation and we reserved the upstairs space. We spent about an hour there and ordered about $100 worth of beer while we were there. While leaving they told us there was a two hour minimum at $300 per hour. They made us spend an extra $500 and would not budge on that amount even though the building was essentially empty.
They didn’t have plates or napkins, they didn’t have anyone helping us.
I understand it was written in their contract, but to not even meet us half way? They don’t even serve food there, so to meet $600 seems pretty ridiculous.
The only saving grace for me was that they “allowed us” to grab merch and beer to meet their $600 quota.
Maybe next time tell your guests when they arrive about the $600 minimum rather than wording it in a way that can be easily misinterpreted.
For a new brewery, lots of WC and hazy options. My favorite was Jacks Juice, easily a lawnmower beer. Very cool open, garage atmosphere but on busy intersection, parking can be difficult. Kid and pet friendly. Food truck out front.
really love their key lime pie beer!

Tasty waves was in fact.... Tasty! It was so good!! It is just what I needed coming back from Canada. A solid welcome back.
Had the Tasty Waves West Coast IPA, it was exceptional. The Mexican Seoul food cart out front had amazing tacos and bowls!
Great addition to the community! Tons of seating options both in and outdoors. Arcade games inside. Great selection of beer. The food options (not in-house, but parked out front) are really great and filling. Super clean and friendly!

Mid beer but serviceable, but they’re always gruff and trying to close up 45-60 minutes before close no matter the night or how busy it is. They’ve been outright rude multiple times in addition to general lack of a customer-focused attitude. Last Drop is around the corner, go there.
While in the area my family saw there was kid-friendly trivia at this location. You can bring your own food but all drinks must be purchased onsite. We tried 3 of the beers. The sour beer was fantastic! A food truck was available and it was excellent as well. Parking was tricky. We did find street parking a few blocks away. It was a packed house. They have seating indoors and outdoors on the main level. There's also additional seating upstairs for trivia players. Trivia was really fun and well done!
Great Beer and Monday Trivia!
Terrific beer choices, excellent Mex/Korean food truck, kid friendly and dog friendly... What's not to like?
We loved this place since it had great beer and a super cool indoor/outdoor vibe. We went a bunch but.... grumpy employee was super rude to my wife about our kiddo. He wasn't running around or being wild so she was super put off. Likely won't return with kids so just an FYI to other families thinking of stopping by with littles.
