Great beer and staff but mostly a playground for screaming children.
Great beer, great atmosphere and even better staff. What more could one need?
Don’t say you’re kid-friendly when you are not. They were hosting two kid birthday parties and came out to scold the kids (and parents) multiple times. I understand liability but to expect kids to sit solely at a table is unrealistic. Either understand and be somewhat flexible or call it what it is and say it’s adult-only. We will not be back with a kiddo.
Great beer selection, nice workers, family friendly
Great beer!
Tons of seating, dog friendly, good beer selection, dedicated food truck that is fantastic.
Fantastic selection of beers in Lake City - why trek all the way to Ballard!
Used to be a 5 star brewery, solid beers. Lately it's just kids running amok, parents aren't parenting, kids playing in the bathrooms throwing water at each other.
I go to MANY family friendly breweries (Ballard) and never see behavior like this.
Project 9 really needs to have a come to moment with these parents.
Use to be a fun place to go now I just drive past.
I might say this is one of the coolest breweries in Seattle ? the atmosphere was so casual and cool - giving you that outdoor/indoor vibe, which works well both in summer and winter. The beer was also fantastic, they have something for everyone. And if you don’t partake in beer, they also serve coffee beverages. They have TVs, plenty of space and seating, an onsite food truck and are dog/ family friendly. I also appreciate the care that they have for their place - setting rules and expectations for children and dogs, making it a comfortable space for everyone. We will definitely be back for the beer and the atmosphere! Ps - they also have snacks and beer to go!
Pretty good beer, great atmosphere, kid and dog friendly with great food trucks. Can't go wrong

If Chucky Cheese had a bar, it’s this place. Countless children running around being obnoxious. Staff act like DMV employees that are less than thrilled to pour your beer.
Project 9 is a great business idea executed very well. Great variety of beer on tap, wine and soda, it's kid and dog friendly and has lots of space inside and outside. They don't serve food but you can bring in whatever you want. And the people are friendly.
Great beer in very nice space. Has a food truck.
Great space. Variety of seating from outdoor, indoor, high top, couches, tables, etc.
This is a brewery I was able to enjoy, despite not drinking anymore (but my friends were). They have 3 great NA options and poured them into glasses for me, without me even asking. Most places will just give you NA in the can, so I didn't realize that it made so much of a difference in vibe and I felt super included. What a nice touch!
Dog friendly. Which is a must for me.
Great place to hang out.
Staff is very friendly. welcoming vibes.
The only con is the parking situation, there's no lot that I know of so I park a few blocks away on the street.
Unfortunately, "kid friendly" is inaccurate and I wouldn't recommend groups either. Staff and owner are clearly agitated when children are in their establishment. Any noise would set off a staff member to tell us our children were playing too loudly on the 6 free arcade games upstairs. I would not recommend this establishment to families.
