Really enjoyed it. The turnout was perfect, the service was top notch and the food was most appealing!!! My final complaint was that the restaurant was very cold and halfway through dinner I found myself having to put my skirt back on.
The steak was perfect and the cream crackers were delicious as was the cheese! An added portion of cheese would have been good for the price and maybe some grapes.
This restaurant is a 5 minute walk from my home. Been a customer for many years. Both the service and the food are excellent.👍👍👍

Purple Cafe and Wine Bar is a popular spot in Seattle known for its lively atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant offers a variety of great food, including blackened shrimp, short rib pasta, and a highly praised Cauliflower dish. The ambiance is vibrant and energetic, making it ideal for a night out, especially for those looking to enjoy a delicious meal with nice views. Guests often find the place full of energy, particularly during events like Restaurant Week. The impressive spiraling staircase, which encloses many bottles of wine, adds to the restaurant's charm.
Appetizers like dates and Arancini Alla Vodka are recommended to start the meal, and the mushroom pasta is well decorated and tasty. The Pan-seared Steelhead is another delightful option, expertly seared and complemented by wild mushroom dashi and chanterelle. The dessert tiramisu is delicious, as well as the Blueberry Creme Brulee and Lemon Sherbet, which are both enjoyable. The service is excellent, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant experience, though some guests have mentioned that the restaurant can be quite cold. Visitors often enjoy the wine tower in the middle of the dining room, enhancing the lively vibe. Overall, Purple Cafe and Wine Bar is a great choice whether visiting before a show or after a cruise, offering a fun and flavorful dining experience in Seattle.
