Our first time here! It's tucked away with the other businesses near Pike Place Market. It's where Wild Fish Poke is and you'll see their sign on the right and then up the stairs! It's across from Matt's in the Market and on the 2nd floor. Place is small so they DO require a reservation! They have an assortment of drinks, several bourbons and whiskey. I got the autumns mark which has 4 different liquors and fall spices. My bf tried the "pickle back" which is a shot of bourbon + a shot of pickle juice. I'm not a fan of bourbon but man, you gotta try the pickle juice! If you like pickles, you will like this, their own recipe too! The loaded tots you must get! Truly loaded with tender pulled pork, pickled goat horn peppers (so good), smoked cheddar cheese, GRAVY and a soft fried egg on top! I LOVED their braised beef brisket! Three hunks of beef, slowly braised and oh so tender with arugula on the side and some nice buttered onions with subtle horseradish crème on the side. Dip the beef in that crème and braised sauce, delicious! To end the good food and drinks, we had the fried bread pudding that had bourbon caramel and whipped cream. You NEED TWO of these! Like it was that good and good for one person if you ask me. Our server was delightful and entertaining! Atmosphere has nice vibes, definitely casual.

Here's the deal: This was our first time to Radiator Whiskey. We'd been seeking an alternative to our usual dinner places when we're downtown for a concert or 5th Avenue. Initially, we just couldn't find the location. We knew it was in the Sanitary Building but didn't see any signs. Fortunately, a friendly security guard at Pike Place helped us find the way saying it was his favorite restaurant. Once we got inside, we felt at home. Friendly, funky and historic filled with a nice buzz of conversation and the air filled with delicious smells. Cat, the woman at the host stand was also our server and a real delight, knowledgeable and funny, making our entire visit feel like we belonged there. We took advantage of the Happy Hour menu for food and drink and we couldn't have been happier. Our drinks were perfect, the food was tasty and fresh and everyone seemed just as content as we were. We're going back and encourage others to do the same.

The happy hour beverage options are fantastic, I had a delicious Old Fashioned for a steal! The tots are always the best and the chicken sandwich was so crispy and delicious. My only complaint is that there is no option for grilled chicken/protein to be added to the salads. The options are either fried chicken or fried shrimp. My wife ordered a salad to be calorie conscious but the only way to add protein was for it to be fried, which negates the point. Add grilled protein options and this would be a 5 start review!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is very good. Nice bar/restaurant. We had a reservation for my wife's birthday and were seated immediately at a table set for us. The whiskey selection is off the charts, if they don't serve it here it probably isn't worth your time. The service was sub par, took quite awhile for a waitress to come help us. After ordering our food it was an acceptable amount of time for service. However the waitress didn't get the order right and brought me the wrong dish. My wife ordered the brisket, which she finished eating before I even had my food due to them bringing me the wrong dish, however the brisket was more of a shredded beef roast and not served as brisket should be. Way over cooked, flavor was good but not a typical brisket. $35 for a small serving and only came with a few greens on the side. I ordered steak bites, and when they arrived about 45 minutes after ordering, they were over cooked, and a poor cut of meat. Very chewy and tough. Served only with a couple pieces of blue cheese and a half dozen pieces of onion. That meal is lacking for the $26 they charge for it. Once it was brought to the waitresses attention that she sent the wrong meal to me she never came back. Others in the restaurant were sent to check on us. Luckily they didn't charge me for the meal since they screwed it up, but I find it sad that the waitress couldn't even bring herself to show her face at our table again. We both left very disappointed in the meal. And we were so looking forward to a nice date night for her birthday. Flew into town just for the occasion and we were let down
