This Shabu Shabu House is by far the best Shabu Shabu House in the entire Seattle metropolitan area. I know, I’ve been to all of them. I first fell in love with shabu shabu when I was in Asia, and this place doesn’t disappoint. I’m very picky. The meat quality is excellent, the buffet of raw vegetables and additional items is very full and varied, they have all the sauces, spices and flavorings you could want. The place is very well lit and clean, which is important to me...
As a Taiwanese, I personally find Raku okay. It’s not an all you can eat, but the cost end up being about the same maybe more depending on what you order.
The soup base is very poorly made w/lack of flavor… tomato base is pretty much water and some tomato paste. Not much salt or other ingredients to make a rich broth. The same with other broths… the depth of flavor in broth is disappointing. We had to add stuff from sauce bar to make it more flavorful.

4.5 ⭐ The vibe was pleasant, clean, modern , and welcoming. The staff was amazing as they served our large party! Our server offered to cut and b-day bought from 85°, take pictures, ans bring anything else we needed. The best part of food was the well chilled, clean, and insanely fresh unlimited veggies and fruit. Options included tofu skin, crown daisy, and quail eggs. All my favorites!
