We had a wonderful evening; the noise level was “energetic” because the Mariners won game 5 of the ALCS as we dined. The service and the food were both exquisite. Having dinner at re:public was a fine way to begin our evening with Emerald City Music (right next door).

Food was tasty however the service was mediocre. The space is dim inside and kinda loud. I don't think I'll be back here again and I don't recommend this restaurant.

I visited for a work event and we ordered both appetizers and mains. The appetizers, like the Brussels sprouts and the meat-and-cheese platter, were very good, and I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite cocktail, the Paper Plane, on the menu. Overall, I found the food to be good.

The cod dish I ordered, however, wasn’t to my taste. The flavor of the sauce combined with the soft texture of the cod made the dish feel one-dimensional—almost like baby food. I think the flavors would have come together better if the fish had been fried or breaded, adding more depth and contrast to the texture.

Great food- great service. The only thing is that the bar hanging lights block the TV. Otherwise we had a great night!

Always love Re:Public great cocktails and the food is good too. Staff are always nice and accommodating, great place in SLU to meet up with friends for a few drinks and come grub.

Great menu, lots of choices from the small plates to the entrees. We started with a party of 4 and ended up with a party of 12–the staff could not have been nicer! Great service and wonderful food.

Great spot with an amazing happy hour, excellent table and bar service, a delicious and diverse menu that can accommodate dietary restrictions, and one of the best signature cocktail and mocktail selections in the area.

Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with our friends. There was not one thing we didn't enjoy and discuss. The kindness of the staff was genuine and we had an amazing experience.

Great place for an after work gathering. They have a happy hour and a pretty full menu for lunch or dinner. Had great cocktails and the beer selection is good.

Mostly Re:public is a noisy bar, tvs showing sports, a selection of high top and cafe tables. The weather was perfect but the large garage door in the front of the restaurant stayed shut (darn). Service was very good and drinks were ordered and delivered a few minutes after we'd been seated. The wings looked so good-so we ordered the sweet & hot sauce and they were awesome but served with blue cheese dressing but without the carrots & celery (?). What was the blue cheese dressing for? I had the Ragu with beef and enjoyed it. Both hot items were served steaming hot which I prefer. Both were delicious as well. Lots of happy hour groups of 20 something workers were hanging at the high top tables in the rear, it's a good place to bring a group.

From start to finish, our experience at Re:Public was terrific. Our server was attentive and thoughtful, and gave us good recommendations from the menu. We had the scallop appetizer which was AMAZING - so flavorful but very clean tasting as well. For our mains we had the pork chop - cooked perfectly and so flavorful and not one iota of dryness - and the risotto with mushrooms. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu because everything looked so good.
