Great spot with an amazing happy hour, excellent table and bar service, a delicious and diverse menu that can accommodate dietary restrictions, and one of the best signature cocktail and mocktail selections in the area.
Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with our friends. There was not one thing we didn't enjoy and discuss. The kindness of the staff was genuine and we had an amazing experience.
Mostly Re:public is a noisy bar, tvs showing sports, a selection of high top and cafe tables. The weather was perfect but the large garage door in the front of the restaurant stayed shut (darn). Service was very good and drinks were ordered and delivered a few minutes after we'd been seated. The wings looked so good-so we ordered the sweet & hot sauce and they were awesome but served with blue cheese dressing but without the carrots & celery (?). What was the blue cheese dressing for? I had the Ragu with beef and enjoyed it. Both hot items were served steaming hot which I prefer. Both were delicious as well. Lots of happy hour groups of 20 something workers were hanging at the high top tables in the rear, it's a good place to bring a group.
From start to finish, our experience at Re:Public was terrific. Our server was attentive and thoughtful, and gave us good recommendations from the menu. We had the scallop appetizer which was AMAZING - so flavorful but very clean tasting as well. For our mains we had the pork chop - cooked perfectly and so flavorful and not one iota of dryness - and the risotto with mushrooms. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu because everything looked so good.
Got a couple drinks here midday. Not too crowded. Clean tables to catch up at.
Timely and friendly service, plus excellent food.
A very lively cocktail bar with very personable staff & chef. We only ordered appetizers & drinks, but both were very good. We'll definitely return soon!
Excellent refresher for a long day, and Geordie the bartender is a great sport!
Best whiskey selection in Seattle by far. Fantastic staff and management. Amazingly welcoming space to enjoy food and drink. Keep up the great work and thank you.
The food was really good, but because of hard floor, hard walls and the 20- 30- something clientele it attracts it was very noisy, or “energetic” if you prefer.

Excellent food and service, we really enjoyed our dinner here. Not cheap, but seemed good value. Definitely recommend the Wild Boar Bolognese. Was rather noisy with an after-work drinks crowd.
Our party of six had a great time at Re:public Saturday night. It was much quieter than during the week and we were able to have a really fun dinner with friends. The service was really attentive and friendly. We shared a bunch of plates - the brussel sprouts and tofu were great, as was the chicken.
Happy hour has good prices but wasn't nuts about the two food items we got - French fries and brussel sprouts
A Seattle Favorite – Republic Never Disappoints For my colleagues and me, a trip to Seattle isn't complete without a meal at Republic. It's become a tradition—no matter how packed our schedules are, we always find time to come back. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality keep us returning again and again. For me, the highlight is always the pork chop—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired with some of the best grits and collard greens I've ever had. It's the kind of meal you think about long after you've left, counting down the days until you can have it again. Republic isn't just a restaurant; it's a staple of our Seattle visits. If you're looking for a spot that consistently delivers incredible food and a warm, welcoming experience, this is it. Already looking forward to my next visit!
Met friends here, table in the back was good for conversation, Brussels sprouts were SO good, great burger fries, wings, yum!
