This place is great for people with no taste who are swayed by hipster atmosphere, clever cocktail drink names, and aesthetic instagram worthy looking dishes. To say the food is sub-par is an understatement. Its atrocious. The attitude was hipster. The dish i ordered was way too salty. Nothing tasted asian. Prices through the roof! Garbagiano.
The food was so bad. REALLY BAD. The chicken was so tough and the noodles were worse than instant noodles. Never ever come here. Weird vibes as well.

I ordered the Wok Seared Turmeric Rockfish and the Hokkien Wok Noodles, and they were AMAZING. The combination of textures and the sauces that accompany each dish create the perfect balance of flavors.
The place is beautiful, and the entire staff was very friendly, organized, and efficient.
The only thing I didn’t love is that some areas are a little dark. If you prefer a brighter atmosphere, I recommend calling ahead and requesting a table near the window or on their BEAUTIFUL patio.
Thank you so much — we’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Reckless Noodles was the first spot we tried when we moved to Seattle and we were jaw dropped at how tasty the reckless fried rice was/is, especially when you add shrimp! We’ve been back several times since and it’s definitely one of our top spots!

Mediocre
As someone with a severe peanut/tree nuts allergy, I am always worried about going to asian places that serve peanuts. I had the vegan fried rice here, it was amazing! And the staff made me feel comfortable they took my allergy seriously. Looking forward to the next time I eat here ~
Food is overpriced and lack dimension for how much they charge.

We tried Reckless Noodles during restaurant week and enjoyed our meal overall. We had duck crispy rolls and crispy prawns for appetizers and they were delicious.
For entrees, we had reckless fried rice and the five spice duck confit. The confit flavor was good but the duck wasn’t as tender as I hoped. The waiter who checked on us said the duck should’ve been falling off the bone, but it wasn’t. The confit wasn’t a standout for me compared to the fried rice and appetizers, which we loved.
This was a first visit and I would still like to come back and try other noodle dishes and explore more of the menu.

The food was really good and easy to share. The sesame ice cream and creme brulle (sp) was so good
Get them together.

Restaurantji Recommends
Overall, food experience good and slightly above average.
Food: hit or miss items at someone really good and some are average at best.
Atmosphere: very dark bar like scene.
Service: relatively upbeat friendly service without any specific cons experienced
Conclusion: a relatively decent place that's good enough to come back to try different things

Definitely not worth the price. Place has a great bar atmosphere but would definitely not recommend as a restaurant. Started with the wings and the beef cheek noodles. Wings are served whole, the meat wasn't very tender, making them difficult to take apart and messy. Flavor was ok. The beef cheek noodles had a nice spice but nothing else. Lacked in flavor. The beef fell apart easily but was oddly dry. The cocktails I ordered felt very unbalanced. I was excited for the various ingredients mentioned in the description but they were hard to distinguish as all I tasted was liquor. Great place if you intend to get drunk! In the end the best thing I tasted was the ice cream. The male servers were great! but one of the female servers never smiled and she placed a straw I asked for directly on the table as well as my dessert spoon. Not sure how clean that table was but utensils are usually handed to one or placed on a napkin on the table.

We’ve been coming here since moving into the neighborhood in 2020 and we’re so happy when they expanded the space so have a bar vibe section in addition to the indoor and enclosed outdoor dining areas! We love ordering family style with big groups or ordering solo if we don’t wanna share and have leftovers. Cocktails and food are all delicious and service is always top notch!

Been here a few times and food has always been good. Last time service was good and bartender let us order on happy hour even though it was a few minutes past. Would be five stars, but taking off a star because there was a three percent service fee. Just include the real price on the menu (which I would have been fine paying) rather than do this sort is sketchy dishonest trick. I don't think service charge was listed on the physical menu and am not seeing it listed on the online menu. Also, more minor issue which doesn't change my rating, but would help me to round down: tip defaults in the credit card system started at twenty percent. I usually default to twenty percent myself, but don't like there not being default options lower.
Delicious creative dishes in a funky environment. Can't ask for more!
